The Middle Path Initiative for Recovery and Wellness exists to translate Middle Path–informed principles into direct community impact. As a nonprofit, community-based organization, the Initiative focuses on education, outreach, and access—bringing evidence-based, harm-reduction–aligned recovery and wellness tools to individuals and communities often underserved by traditional systems of care.
Our current efforts are focused on securing funding and building the infrastructure necessary to support a future regional pilot program, along with a movement- and momentum-building tour presenting Middle Path Method workshops, with initial emphasis on the Four Corners region and Tribal Nations where culturally responsive, person-centered approaches to health and recovery are critically needed. Our work is grounded in compassion, balance, and practical support—meeting people where they are and supporting sustainable paths toward health, purpose, and resilience.
The mission of the Middle Path Initiative for Recovery and Wellness is to advance evidence-based, trauma-informed, and harm-reduction–oriented approaches that empower individuals affected by opioid use disorder (OUD), substance use disorder (SUD), and co-occurring mental health conditions to rebuild their lives with purpose. Through mindfulness, emotional-intelligence education, peer support, and person-centered recovery tools, the Initiative helps individuals cultivate resilience, discover meaning, and sustain long-term wellness.
The Initiative exists to make recovery and wellness tools accessible to all—especially those with limited access to traditional treatment options.
We promote a compassionate, evidence-based model of care that integrates modern science, emotional intelligence, and contemplative practices to reduce suffering and support meaningful, lasting change.
